Brooks Holtom, professor of management and senior associate dean for strategy, finance, and organization at Georgetown McDonough, shared his thoughts on apprenticeship programs in a recent Gray Television interview:
“We would need to re envision what an apprenticeship is for it to be successful in the future,” Holtom said. He says it would take a change in mindset to create apprenticeships in sectors like health care, information technologies or data analytics. And Holtom says those are the sectors that need openings filled.
