McDonough Hosts Leadership Program for Early Career Women

More than 60 women representing a diverse group of companies and organizations gathered at Georgetown McDonough on Oct. 26 for the QUEST Early Career Women’s Leadership Program.

The one-day program featured sessions by Christine Porath, associate professor of management at Georgetown McDonough and author of Mastering Civility, and Betsy Myers, former director of the White House Office for Women’s Initiatives and Outreach, as well as group exercises, discussions, and networking. “This is exactly what I needed to take the steps to recharge myself mentally, emotionally, and even physically,” said a participant from HSBC Bank. “I have met some wonderful women that share the same feelings and thoughts and to know that I am not alone was a huge sigh of relief.”

QUEST is a global leadership institute, resource center, and network for women in the first decade of their careers at large, global companies. QUEST offers global programs, a virtual campus, research, and a community that helps advance and inspire early career women.
